Peridance Contemporary Dance Company Spring Season 2014

Peridance Contemporary Dance Company is pleased to announce its upcoming New York Spring Season, spanning two weekends: March 15th & 16th and March 22nd & 23rd, 2014. The Company’s highly anticipated season will take place at Peridance’s resident venue, the Salvatore Capezio Theater. Weekend I - 3 World Premieres!! Igal Perry - Robyn Mineko Williams - Bryan Arias March 15th | 7:30pm (with a special performance by Peridance Youth Ensemble) March 16th | 2:30pm & 6:30pm During the first weekend of performances, the Company will unveil an exciting new repertory with three world premieres by Artistic Director Igal Perry, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago’s Robyn Mineko Williams and Nederlands Dans Theater's Alumnus, Bryan Arias. The March 15th performance will also include a special performance by the Peridance Youth Ensemble, in support of the Company’s outreach programs. Weekend II - Manuel de Falla Flamenco masterpiece "El Amor Brujo" co-presented with the NY Flamenco Festival March 22nd | 8:00pm March 23rd | 4:00pm & 7:00pm Flamenco Singer Rocio Bazan Perspectives Ensemble conducted by Angel Gil-Ordóñez Staging and Choreography by Igal Perry For the second weekend, Peridance Contemporary Dance Company has been selected to perform in the 2014 NY Flamenco Festival with El Amor Brujo, a masterwork featuring renowned Spanish cantaora Rocío Bazán accompanied by the Perspectives Ensemble conducted by Angel Gil- Ordóñez, in an evening of "Falla and Flameco.” Tickets for Weekend II performances are available through
