The technique of the five dancers in this piece was beautiful and clean.There were moments when they danced as one. At times their dancing lead me into another world. I would have loved to hear less pointe shoe in the landings.The loud thumping of the landings interrupted the revelry of movement.Given their skill, I would assume this is less an issue of improper landing and more about needing to choose pointe shoes that turn dancing into a whisper. Grishko or Gaynor-Mindens do the trick.
