From the Horse's Mouth
From the Horses Mouth is a celebratory dance / theater production, created and directed by Tina Croll and Jamie Cunningham, that has received standing ovations for its captivating story-telling and exceptional dancing, with rave reviews from critics around the United States. In each performance 25-30 dancers of all ages participate. Each tells a personal story from their life, then performs movement of their own choosing, sometimes interacting with another dancer. The stories have ranged from humorous to poignant and reveal personal moments of loss, joy, frustration, and triumph. Recent productions have featured dancers with backgrounds in African, Flamenco, East Indian, Irish, Japanese, clogging, hip-hop, tango, jazz, tap, ballet and Broadway, to name a few.
