Stanton Welch's Marie, excerpt 1
Excerpt from Act II pas de deux - Fersen & Marie
A child bride. A spoiled party girl. A doting mother. A controversial queen. Marie Antoinette has long fascinated historians and artists alike. Inspired by the story of her life, artistic director Stanton Welch will create a new full-length ballet about the French monarch whose life culminated in the violent events of the French Revolution. London-based designer Kandis Cook will create costumes and sets for the production. Music director Ermanno Florio will arrange the score, featuring music by Dmitri Shostakovich.

#3 i wish i could see it too!
I LOVE this! the choreography is amazing and both dancers are amazing. What's the girl's name? I know the guy is Conner Walsh. He sometimes dances with my school(BalletNova) in our Nutcrackers because his mom is a teacher there. She teaches me and is such an awesome! I wish Houston Ballet could come to Northern VA or D.C. and perform this! Stanton Welsh's choreography is beautiful!

I really wish I could see this ballet and that it would make its way to Southern California. I am very curious about it. This excerpt just makes me want to see it more...thanks for posting!
