I had to cut out two min out of this dance so it is pretty choppy. I also taught this dance in four rehearsals so they did so great for learning such a long dance in such short period of time. This dance came from a concept that explores the subconscious mind and how it can affect our ability to progress, accomplish goals, maintain healthy relationships, and many other worthwhile ideas. It hopefully displays the frustration and darkness that comes with "getting in your own way" without the understanding of why or how it keeps happening. I like to believe that this psychological stumbling block is only in control if we do not overcome it and adopt new habitual thinking or dispositions.
