Watch a Ballet Blizzard! See snow being dumped onto dancers from the Snow Scene in the Nutcracker!...Award winning dancer/choreographer/teacher Kira Seamon shares her focusing techniques in this instructional video. Find out how you can concentrate through distractions and turn in your best performance even with the most trying circumstances! Just remember to "keep calm and keep dancing on"! The video concludes with a fun "footnote" section, where Kira's images of the amazing brick wall across from her studio are shown. Her tendu image, "Self Portrait", was taken exactly at the spot on the barre where and when the footage for this video was captured... A portrait is thought to include something of the essential quality of a person and for Kira, as a dancer, the tendu is one of the most essential movements she does. This image has already won 2 prestigious international photographic competitions in the "shadow" category.
