A solo dance by Charity Offril, this improvisational dance from Tahiti requires the dancer to include a minimum of seven specific dance movements that reflect the lead of the rhythm set by the musicians. The dance lasts two minutes and the most important beat for the dancer is the last beat--s/he must end exactly in time with the musicians. Charity Offril dances with the San Francisco Bay Area group, Te Mana 'O Te Ra.
