Turning Tables April 22, 2016 | miche11e | More on Tap
This contemporary tap piece was a result of working thru the frustrations when you feel…have nothing else to give. Taking a journey and celebrating moments of strength, but in the end you are still left feeling unsure and unresolved, and thats OK.Read More
FIGHT- Choreography by Ellenore Scott April 22, 2016 | EllenoreS | More on General
"Fight" follows the story of a couple torn apart by their emotions. As we see…couple repeatedly argue over the same subject, we get an introspective look at how their emotions manipulate them. Humans are emotional beings, and sometimes we feel as though we are at the mercy of those emotions (anger, sadness, depression) and can't get out. The story concludes with the couple deciding through thought and reason to end the relationship, blowing the emotions away from their decision making. Huge thanks to my amazing dancers from the Alvin Ailey Certificate Program! xoxoRead More

Genre: Theater Jazz Choreographer: Cassie Nordgren "My goal as a choreographer is to tell stories…make people feel good- to get them to smile or hell, even laugh! I love an unexpected ending and I think that is why "The Girl From Ipanema" is my favorite thing I have created. The dancing, the music and the story are all complimentary to one another- This is really a magical equation, and so special when you can achieve it." www.cassienordgren.comRead More

On the Nature of Daylight is about their last day on earth; only it is their idea of a perfect day that they can relive over and over.Read More
