This piece is dedicated to my dance teacher who lost her husband almost 3 years…He was one of the strongest and most inspirational men in my life for 22 years. He was like a second father to me and so many others. They are the reason I was able to dance and continue on in this field. I love them both very much and miss him everyday. I chose this song because of the very first line. I believe we don't truly know or appreciate what we have until it is gone.
